Hello,
I just last week purchased a 2002 SC430 and noticed that the trunk emblems are not as others that I have seen on the internet. My trunk only has the word LEXUS on the passenger side and no emblem or wording on the driver side. Others have that word on the drivers side with SC430 on the passenger side.
Any ideas why this would be?

 

Accident and re-paint and logo not put back on . Can you check the car fax or else the car history. This is an easy fix buy the logo and it goes on with 3 m tape

 

That was my first thought, however it had a clean Carfax report of no reportable accidents. I would need to remove the LEXUS and move to drivers side and purchase the SC430 for the passenger side?

 

Or someone decided to customize their vehicle.
