Default Easy peasy!

Nope. Took me about 10 minutes per side to install. I placed the strips in place with the backing still on the adhesive. Started on the inside and worked out. Pulled the backing off a little at a time while pressing the strip adhesive up against the bottom of the headlight housing with the blade of a very small screwdriver. I took an alcohol pad and wrapped it around the blade of said screwdriver and prepped the surface of the headlight housing where the strips would stick prior to installation. Easy peasy.

How did you do the wiring, through the fender liner?

No, the wiring is on the medial end of the LED strips and simply ran up in front of the radiator toward the battery/fuse box.

So here are my 2 options (if I decide to mount them on the SC), source the power from:

DRL
or
Park Light

Or get a new circuit in with a switch so it is on demand.

Personally I think the lights are not as big and as bright for what I like to see. But it is OK for now untill a better set is available. It is easy to mount and take off.

I am doing something similar however since I used the side emitting strips on my previous vehicle, I figured I would try something new for my SC. I sorta copied the "DIY Angel Eyes" but instead of making them round for that look I have molded the bar to go over the projector in a downward swoosh like the newer Audis use. I still have to buy some product before installing as I dont want to open the lenses more than once, but once I do, I am making a how-too if someone is feeling froggy. Now the way I am doing it is not easy and will require a very long work time allocated to get it done.

I hooked the negative wire to a ground. I hooked the positive wire to an unused spade in the fuse box. This particular spade is switched with the ignition.

Here's the link with photos. Credit goes to MEP7557 on the Club Lexus RX Third Gen forum for the idea and the pics.

they look great on the RX...on the SC they just dont look right, maybe the leds are not close enough? Also I dont think they should go up as far on the inside curve. Ive been looking for something like this but I think the only thing Ive seen that is good would be swapping out the Fogs with the LEDs from a benz. To do it right you would need some body work.

@ mandyfig - can you post a pic taken further away? I will try to wire mine up and post. Look like yours are about the same strip leds I put on.
