Sorry, they are the same TRDs. I bought new 2010 rims 6 years ago and still have the ones that came on the car.

nice new wheels! the damaged ones look like the area is a stainless steel lip? cant be repaired unfortunately.. unless a whole new lip is pressed on or all 4 wheels are refinished in another color.. and those grooves definitely look like a machine did it.. I hope you win!! those bastards

your new wheels look like they have a stainless steel lip also, be careful with those, because if they get any damage you will need a new wheel..

More woes for my new rims!!! What is wrong with people?!?! Since Dec, I have been a member of a monthly car wash club at Fuller's Car Wash here in Westmont. After I mounted my new rims, I asked the attendant before even entering the bay if it was safe for my car since I was running a staggered setup. I specifically asked to make sure there would be no damage to my NEW rims. He specifically said, no damage can occur b'c the inner edge is the only contact edge. The other edge doesn't even touch the guide bar. So I thought, things would be kosher.

This week, I had my sway bars installed and while my car was on the rack, I noticed the INNER lips on both wheels on the drivers' side were raw! I returned to the carwarsh to speak with the manager and complain that if the attendant has just told me that damage could occur that I would have just bailed out and stopped washing with them! He said I need to speak with owner and left my number. Of course, no calls. Before I left I asked to see the track. The other (untouched edge) has a plastic guide over the metal while the inner side does not and thus is 100% responsible for the damaged. I'm so angry! My rims didn't even make it a month without damage on the part of inconsiderate a**holes (including this incident and the "lip ding" I am still investigating).
