Hello, I recently bought a 2002 Lexus SC430 at a dealer! They sold me the car and told me they would send me the master key because it was locked up in the storage and the person who had the key to the storage was not there because it was on an Sunday. They then call me on Monday and the told me they didn't have a extra key, so now I'm stuck with just a valet key. I bought a key off ebay and got it cut and everything but don't know how to program it and use it. I need your help! Thanks a lot!
You are out of luck without a master key that is already programmed to the car.
I would put the responsibility back on the dealer to get you a master key that works and is programmed. You will not find a Lexus dealer that will program an after market key. All other shops will also need working master key in order to program additional keys.
If the selling dealer is not a Lexus or Toyota dealer your best bet to get it resolved is to go to a Lexus dealer and let them sort it out Make sure the selling dealer is on board with eating the cost or just give them the car back and get your money back.
there is a way posted here long time ago:-
here it is:-
Key Programming
1. Close all doors.
2. Insert an already programmed master key into the ignition.
3. Turn the key from the OFF to On and back OFF FIVE (5) times.
4. Open and close the drivers door SIX (6) times.
5. Remove the key from the ignition.
6. Insert the new key you want to program into the ignition.
7. Wait 1 minute. The security light will be blinking for this one minute. When it stops blinking your key is programmed. To end programming step on brake one time.
HOWEVER I went as fast as possible. So OFF to ON 5 times fast then 6 open and close of door as fast as I could and then I did wait until the light stopped blinking and then I pulled the key out. I can tell its programed because now when I put the key in the ignition (it does not go in all the way) the security light turns off just like if I was using my master key.

Sounds like you have been duped. They could have easily had you one made through a dealer. Wholesalers do this a lot. Shame on them. But you have to have at least a Master.
