AC control unit display cracked lens
Well I cracked the clear plastic lens on the AC control unil while removing it to replace the factory radio. Anyone know where I can just get the minimal parts to fix this? Seems all I can find online thus far is only replacement of basically the whole control unit

Does the back light still work? If it does you might be able to buy a parts unit that has a bad back light. and scavage the part you need. As far as I know I have never seen a lens only available.

If interested I'll find the part number for you.

Part number is 55901-24030 and is $209.87 at Sewell Lexus with Club Lexus Discount if you register with your CL used ID. It's $287.80 without the discount.
It's called BASE SUB-ASSEMBLY, HEATER CONTROL (W/GPS NAVIGATION)

With the Sewell site make sure you register with your Club Lexus user ID. then sign off and sign back in before you ADD the art to your shopping basket or price may jump to the non discount price.
Good luck. My plastic lens is fogged so eventually I'll be replacing mine also.

I used Plastix to clean my AC control unit display and some of the pink Plastix leaked behind the clear lens cover. After I removed the AC control unit, I could not get the lens cover off of the AC control unit to clean the backside of the clear lens cover. Can someone who has removed the lens cover tell me specifically how to remove the it from the AC control unit (without breaking it)?
