Default Brake Caliper Covers - what size?

I'm not a racer by any means, I just really like the look of the red brake calipers a lot of porsche's have. Anyone know if these knockoff brembo cover's will fit a 2002 sc430? If not, can someone recommend an alternative to achieve the same effect? I have aftermarket 18" rims if it makes a difference. thanks!

This one on ebay is sized as: (230mm and 185mm 3D Series)

Not sure about the Brembro knockoffs but calipercovers.com makes a set for the SC. Not a fan of them but its is an alternative.

Default Brembo caliper covers

I had great success with these plastic covers on 18" tourmaline rims and have been in place for 4 years now. I had to slighly cut the plastic with a hacksaw to fit. I found them on Ebay. I think they look great and were very easy to install and cost around $30 for all 4 if I remember right.

That looks great man! This is probably a silly question, but there's no way to install without removing the tire right?

Two options - paint the calipers yourself with the kits (catalyzed paints) made for this purpose. Requires removal, meticulous de-greasing. Or, these covers.

I haven't done either. What are the pros- cons of each approach?? The plastic covers look easy, but do they hold up?

Here are before and after photos. I would guess it took 30 min per wheel.

In my opinion, you'd be better off painting yours or getting real ones. The fake covers, uh, are for pozers...

I see there is a third option - aluminum caliper covers painted with a powder-coat type of paint.

$179 on the major auction site, custom fit for Sc430.

Why don't you just paint them..

Don't rep brembo if you don't have brembos haha

Doesn't the paint end up fading after a while whereas the covers wud last a lot longer. I wouldn't get brembo brake covers tho. I wud jus get a regular cover from MGP.

Man it's amazing how everyone has something bad to say about the caliper covers. If you pay $4500 to $8500 they cost people would say your stupid you paid to much. When in fact 1/3 of the people criticizing the covers don't use premium gas in their car because it cost to much or they go to Buy a shirt and get a oil change places when you should go the an authorized Lexus dealer. My feeling if you like it on your Lex I love it.
