2013 MT Whiteout Scion FR-S. Yes, I know it's a "downgrade" from a luxury convertible, but I am 20 and I think it just suits me more. It was between the FR-S or a CT 200h F-Sport. And frankly, I didn't wanna lose too much performance with the CT. I will enjoy having Bluetooth and a more shifty car, but I will miss my leather and all the little Lexus ammenities. The good thing is that this car has a lot better technology and will be cheaper to mod.

Sad to see you go bud, but enjoy that FR-S! They look real sharp!

My brother just bought an FR-S (GT-86 in this part of the world).. Very nice little car, extremely fun and well built but its no SC IMO.. I wouldn't give up my SC for the Scion.. They're worlds a part (and were both built to be just that).

Best of Luck

Moe

20 huh; get the car you want and then 10 years down the road regret that you didn't keep the SC!!

Some of us have all it all made. Debating between an SC and a brand new car.

I'll always love my SC. In the future I'd like to have another one, but mine has 127,000 miles and I'd like to get a newer one with less miles when I finish law school. I know it's a total different car, but I have so much fun driving FR-S.

BBBut, won't you miss the V8 ?

Just joking, congrats on the new FRS. Very pretty looking car.

Haha I will definitely miss that and my torque that is 2 times more than the FR-S at the crank. Thanks though. I already have a tune and exhaust parts almost ordered. That should make the car more powerful, as other people have already dynoed gains of about 35 whp with an exhaust/tune/drop in filter. Now I just need to get the right driver mod . It's my first manual.

Good luck Husker. Just don't be like a Honda S2K that I once saw which had as its registration, "2Late V8". We will still have more grunt unless you do something pretty radical to that 4 cylinder engine.

Wish I could have a manual trans - been banned cos one member of my family cannot drive stick... Nothing as involving as shifting on your own without a computer to decide for you. Enjoy !

Yeah I'm pretty excited to have total control over the transmission. I'm hoping that TRD's supercharger will be something worth actually purchasing (it won't). But like I said, I will definitely go back to an SC someday. Along with an ISF, GSF, LFA, and whatever other F Lexus makes.. I can dream can't I?
