For normal things like oil, brakes, etc (non-top related, non-electronic), can a good general mechanic take care of our cars, or is there something special that requires some expertise? There's a highly recommended shop across the street from my office, and I'm tempted to get my brakes/oil done there. Thoughts?
Thanks!

I would ask the shop how framiliar they are with the sc430. I have a large gas station next to me and I thnk I have only seen one sc430 there. I know the shop owners and I wont use them for mine.
