where do I find the link to run a service history check?

You have to Join / Create User / etc...

 

Not only that, you don't even have to own the car. I added the vin for a car I was interested in and it showed me the full service history which even the dealer won't show you unless you go in person and bring proof of ownership. On the website? No problem and no questions asked. I ended up buying the car.
