Quick polish and wax pics
LOOK GREAT
Aquanuke did you clay your car first as your car has a great finish, Black is a great colour to detail?
Steve you could use the same dodo juice as Aquanuke it is used on dark cars Steve you need a g200 polisher but your need to put a whole day aside to detail it.
Another great polish for our English harsh weather is Collinite it last better than the Dodo Juice so is ideal to apply now ready for the winter months but Dodo is so much easier to apply and give a great finish just imo it just does not last as long...

Just spent all day polishing mine with elbow grease (I don't have a polisher yet). Nothing like aquanukes, but I am pleased with the result. Probably the last good weather we will have before winter so I have put the cover on it tonight to try to keep it like it is until the 29th.
Where do you guys get to know about all these different polishes you use?
All I use is Maguiars
Best regards
Steve

But I just shop at http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk they have quite a few small sample products that are good to try without spending too much and stock pretty much all the popular stuff.
Very nice Steve, some great reflections.. bet your arm will feel it tomorrow

Believe me, it's killing me now. Washed and dried, then Maguiars paint cleaner followed by Maguiars Tech Wax. All I need now is some decent stuff to finish it off and another arm. lol....

Thanks for the links, brilliant, I will get on them soon.
Just realised you have Luxlink installed. I got mine recently in the group buy, but will not install it until it is locked away in the garage at my son's house for the winter.
Hope you don't me asking, but I need to find out if there are any differences with the install
compared with left hand drive cars. Did you install it yourself?
Best regards
Steve

I got a guy at my local car audio shop to install and he said it was pretty straight forward no diff. between lhd/rhd cars. But I had the very first Luxlink with remote top and starter. I know its been somewhat revised since mine.
Hope to see your car in the flesh on the 29th.
Looking Good Steve the g220 does make the job easier but it is hard work trying to get the right finish.
The hard part for me is my car is used every day of the week so I don't have the option in covering it up between shows or lock it away for the winter...
Mine now has a number of stone chips so i think I may have the front end resprayed to keep the car on it toes..
If you ever get a g220 it takes a number of goes to learn how to get the best out of the machine...
I must admit that i have not fully detailed mine this year as it been a really busy year and i can't believe we are in October.
Keep up the good work guys

Thanks for the compliment.
I am fortunate that mine is a weekend toy, so it can stay covered when I don't use it. Unfortunately my house was built in 1930 and the garage is about big enough for an Austin Seven so it has to stay on the drive.
My son has a huge double garage that he does not use so I get to use it for my mods.
Hope you get a chance to give it a wax before the 29th.
Best regards
Steve

The Dodo Juice Purple Haze (just love that name) and other stuff is ordered from Cleanyourcar, thanks for the link.
I must say I have never seen an MB with a finish like yours, so I am not surprised you asked if it was a compliment.lol
Best
Steve
Nice JOB guys..... I wish I had an opportunity to do that. This Florida sun is killing my finish. @WIL44 hey bro I have those same wheels from MSR.... I had big problems getting the to shine like new. Until I came across this Polish called Adams Metal Polish. You can go to there site and watch the magic happen. I am VERY happy with the outcome. The best thing about it is that it doesn't require a huge amount of work. Anyway great job on the cars guys.

Thanks for the compliments and the details of the polish.
This weekend was probably the last decent weather we will have this year in the UK so your Florida sun is something we crave, but I suppose the grass is always greener...........lol
Got my wheels from a company in Scotland that does not exist anymore, so I would have no idea where to get replacements from if I ever needed them. Would you have a link to or a full name where I can find MSR?
Best regards
Steve
