Could it be something with the roof latches?
When the top closes, the latches should pull the roof tight against the top of the windshield/A-piller area.
With the top fully closed, is there any play in the roof, when you push up from the inside, or down from the outside?

No sir. Completely tight. When you close the top, you see it suck it in at the end, still does that. Looks tight and good as always.
