The factory trunk spoiler was an option indeed.

Actually it looks pretty good. It would have saved the original owner $400 if foregoing the option. Well, so much for the saving on a $60k+ car.

I think the spoiler adds a lot to the look of the car. I would pay an extra $400 to have it.

Hmm, looks ok I guess. If you ever decide to go that route, I'll take your factory spoiler off you. I'm looking for a used factory spoiler.

You NEED to add a spoiler - just does not look quite right without one.

Not too shabby. It still has a little lip which is pretty cool. I think it's a nice subtle change, not cookie-cutter.

Ehh, I think it makes the car look like a blob. Not the worst thing I've ever seen though :P

I was wondering how it would look without a spoiler. It doesn't look bad but I would rather have one. What are the stock spoilers made out of?

We are just used to see the rear with a spoiler.

Just like after owning an SC, you seem to see 1 every day.

I quite like the clean look, but then I am a sucker for any white SC.

Mandy, I hardly ever see another SC in the UK.

How is the Lexus brand selling in UK?

The Is is everywhere in the UK Mandy (good reps car) and all the other models sell pretty well, but the SC never sold in large numbers. We didn't get the 2010 here as they stopped importing in 2009 when Lexus changed to 'hybrids only' in the UK.
The trashing of the SC by Top Gear a few years ago had an effect on sales, I'm sure!

Hey WIL44 always good to have another Londoner, im in South London, Sutton.

Mine started off without the spoiler for about 4-5 years then I put the Berhman one on. TBH I never not liked it without, but I think it looks more aggressive with. Although not overly keen on the stock spoiler.

Some pics with and without over the many years...
