Scdroptop

I think your right. I may just leave it be for now. Lowering has allways made me feel a bit over the top. To many choices and not sure of the benifits vs the cost.

Thanks

Mrblister, I'm with SCdroptop, I'd just keep my money for gas. lol Your ride looks good, as far as the tire not being out far enough, IMHO you couldn't go out very far, before getting outside the fender wells. I have the stock wheels on our SC so they sat in pretty far. I might go with the 35mm in the rear. Soon!

Folks, the SC hit the Interstate this morning and am gald to report that @ 90 mph, there is no vibration. Same as before the spacers were installed.

Am happy with the set and considering they are half the cost of the Ichiban's etc..

I will not endorse the seller by saying his name. But on fleabay there's only a few who supply spacers for our SC's. He has good reviews. $75 for the 25's and $85 for the 35's (or anything higher than 25's) shipped. They come from CA.

No rubbing, too so far. So I say 25/35 works.

When you install the spacers, make sure you use a torque wrench. I do mine to 80 ft-lbs.

Some more driving later in the day. All good. 90 mph nothing doing...stable and just cruising.

Was running 90 and the SC wanted to go faster.

A friend of mine's mom had an SC and he used it going to the hospital (wife was delivering the baby) and he ran it 160 and it was like nothing...yes he was pulled over, but no tickets, LOL.

Would 25's in the front and 30's in the back look that unbalanced?

If you got some 25s already, just go buy a pair of 35s for the rear. All the other combos you mention would make it look unbalance. If you put the 25s in the rear, you need some 15s for the fronts. Front and rear need to have at least a 10mm difference in order to look the same distance Also when you lowered the car, the suspension camber curve moved the wheel in, so with a lowered car, you need a even bigger spacer to flush it out. For your car on Teins, 25/35 is perfect, trust me

Yes my car will come down eventually, just haven't got to it yet......I am gonna get some Tein S-tech, it looks great on your car!

20mm/30mm looks more staggered than 25mm/30mm especially the rear is much weaker than the front in the wheel fitment department.

As BNR34 said, the wheel wells on this car are just so huge especially the rear that Lexus's one-size-fits-all wheels look the worst on the SC430.

As talwang says the wheel wells are deep.

I would have gone 22 front but will keep 35 rear. That would have equalized it.
