Create Address Book Entries?

Create Address Book Entries?
I have a 2007 SC430. My iPhone will not transfer contacts to the Lexus so I wanted to manually create address book entries. However, I cannot find a way to do so. The dealer says that he doesn't think that this can be done.
Any suggestions?
