Yikes... Are you coming from Arlington?

I'm sure today is a sure thing; not sure about tomorrow because no one else has responded.

Leaving now.

I'm sorry guys...grandparents trump CL members...you know how it is with old people they hold grudges FOREVER and if I cancel lunch with them I'll never hear the end of it! They go back to Whispering Pines/Hawaiin Shores tomorrow in FL retirement community.

My grandma is a fiesty Portugese granny who pinches your cheek real hard and tells it like it is...no way I'm gonna mess with her!

I love Rudy's...I'm in on ANY other day. I'll be picking my nose tomorrow...not a big college FB fan and my wife/son are going to inlaws to have some black eyed peas.

LOL Huy-I forgot you missed the whole Public Enemy thing back in the late 80's early 90's!!! You didn't miss much...

Well, you have to take care of your family while they are still around. That's much more important than anything about cars, for sure. Maybe next time.

Default Pictures from the 2010 Dallas meet

Harold, Huy, and I (Alec) met at Rudy's today in Frisco.
We had a great time -- Huy's youth and younger car took a couple shots from us old folks. Just call it jealousy, friend.

Sorry our other Dallas members couldn't meet us, but let's give it another shot soon. Harold and I have each talked to Derek about a get-together over the past 2 years , so let's make it happen in 2011.

Photos of the vehicles are below: Huy's 2009 PB, Harold's June '02, and my Oct '01. Happy New Year, all!

Count me in, too. Let's make sure we give enough advanced notification next time so everyone can arrange to be there. Should be a great time.

Alec,
The green finally showed up in your car in the last two pictures.
I enjoyed it guys, let's do it again, maybe not quite as impromtu as this one so more DFW folks can join in (there's a lot of us!).

Happy New Year everyone!
Harold

I owe you guys so if I have to drive the farthest I will!!!

Seems like the SC members are fairly divided in DFW on location...we have Denton/Frisco/Carrollton/Plano areas, then we have a couple in Arlington. We haven't heard from PlanoBill and some others...Texas83??? LexusinTexas? LSin75075 (Jacob) I know would want to join us if he is available.

We should have a LED tailight workshop or DRL upgrade workshop or aluminum pedal workshop at someone's house that's close to the meet up. I would be glad to provide instruction and assist with any/all of these mods if you guys want to buy the parts and have them ready...that would be VERY cool. I can host at my house...I've got a 3-car garage and a large rear loading driveway that could fit about 5-6 cars total probably.

Or...we can have a detail day with Zaino products???

I'm out near Lake Lavon and I've seen a couple others out here also, though I don't know if they are on the forum.

Great meeting Alex and Harold.

After seeing/putting my bare feet on Alec's aluminum pedals, I went ahead and bought a set on ebay last night. They should be here something next week and my handheld drill is charged up and ready to go. I'm so ready to put those bad boys on there.

How about in the spring/summer we do a Meet, Drive, and Greet event? Something where we meet somewhere midway from each other, drive through some scenic routes, and eat lunch somewhere. I've heard the drive around Weatherford/Mineral Wells is beautiful but it's way the heck out there.

Hey Huy33, don't forget the lube when you are drilling. Also I jammed blocks of wood under the pedals so they couldn't move. (MD Puff used a 2x4 and his seat to push on the pedal) Hope you have an angle drill, that's what I used, and MD said his drill was a bit troublesome to use. The emergency brake pedal was the biggest pain, trying to get the best placement for the holes so you can get the nuts on. I think you'll like the way they look too! I never felt mine without shoes. A bit too cold for that around here.

It's just a coincidence that it's scdroptop's car. How come I don't have anyone posting pictures of my car???

Hey you PICTURE STEALER!

I did credit you for it though. Not you specifically but I did say an NTL member took it.

Can you please post the link of the ebay seller for the pads? Thanks.
