They recommended 255/40. The tire shop had them in stock and I had them on my SC one hour later. and $85 refund.

Thanks for your expertise Talwang

I can easily see there is just too much bulge there even that pic was taken at that angle.
Everyone have a different preference on how much stretch or bulge they like.

American muscle car's dudes like a tons of bulge and the hellaflush crowd like a tons of stretch, there really no right or wrong, as long as the tire hold air, it is just a personal preference

I think in general, older folks like bulge and youngsters like stretch

Here are pics as requested with 245/40 and 255/40 now on. and yes, the temp on Monday when I took these pics was 82 in So Cal, unlike my old hometown of Chicago where it was in the teens. Cant figure out why it took me 33 years to move from there. Slow learner. (lol)

This looks like a much better setup. I have the Lexus ISP Mode wheels but didn't choose an ideal staggered setup. I went with a 235/40-18 Front and 255/35-18 Rear...The ride and everything is great, but the tires don't fill out the rear wheel well as much as I'd like. The front is okay. I am definitely going to this 245/40 F & 255/40 R setup when my tires need replacing. Thx for sharing!

P.s. I used the tire setup on the new Mercedes E350 Cabriolet as inspiration. It has the same exact setup F & R.

I use ZAINO products only and NEVER take it to a car wash. and if it looks like it going to rain, it stays in the garage.
