Default Adding a sub and amp to sc430

I am attempting the replacement of the factory 8" sub. I have seen a thread where someone replaced theirs with a Polk sub. I need to know what the mounting depth is? Also, has anyone made the sub an enclosure, like a sealed fiberglass. I want to use the input for the amp for my sub amp. Is it true that the amp is a balanced input. Any experience with this would be greatly appreciated..t

Regarding the amp line levels being balanced or floating, the wiring diagram shows +, - for each channel plus a separate grounded shield as you've probably seen in a related thread. There isn't anything in the service manual that indicates that minus pins and signal ground are the same so you might check before going too far. Maybe another member can confirm.
