Default CHEAP bumper update

One lucky CL member bought up the 07 headlights for cheap. Here is the bumper to finish the job. Three available only $300 NEW!

I am thinking of getting one just so I can use Lucky Bastard as a ramming post in traffic.

nice find...is the bumper different for 2006+? I noticed the seller is a dealer, but they put 2005-2009 on the years??? I guess the different trim around the fogs (chrome) are separate parts. Bumper looks the same to me...mmmm?

the description says "ATTN: PICTURE ABOVE IS FOR DISPLAY PURPOSE ONLY YOU WILL RECIEVE THE ACCURATE BUMPER BASED ON YOUR VIN NUMBER."

the bumper pictured is not an SC bumper.

along with the new bumper.. you'll also need a new grill, grill suround, foglight surround and the metal strip next to the foglight... that add's up to an extra $500-$600 in parts in addition to the cost of the bumper and paint.

definitely an awesome upgrade.. but not cheap for sure.

you guys should read the description.

that seller uses the same photo for every bumper he is selling on eBay.

My 2006 bumper came with several (but small in size) rock chips. If the advertised bumper comes painted and color matched through the VIN number then I may just come out ahead by replacing the existing bumper with this one. I don't need to change the other parts mentioned above. Correct? How difficult it is to change the bumper?

How much should I expect to pay for painting the existing bumper? Anyone had just the bumper painted?

Thanks.

Cheers.

Take a look at this thread https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...-headlamp.html. I've been considering this for a while now...but for my 2002 it would mean more than just the cover.
