Lucky B got new shoes, Good? Bad?
First a quick thanks to SCDROPTOP and LIQUIDSC for your many posts and advice on wheels. You guys saved me at least a grand, and make this board great!
MRR HR1s with tires ready to throw on the car. Bought on ebay for $1800 offer accepted. Okay I can take it, what do you all think about the Lucky Bastard now? Other than he looks like he is on stilts.
OEM 03 super clean rims with tires for sale soon.

wow! love 'em! truly unique looking, sharp wheels! Are they chrome lip with polished spokes? Very shiny too. Looks perfect on pine. I'm sure everyone will tell you to drop it. 20" raises the car about 2" they say from stock. I'm taking everyone's recommendations and doing the red tanabe .9" conservative drop about $200 for the springs and park place lexus quoted me $850 to install, with loaner and realignment. Now you gotta do the rear tails too!

looks good. personally, i'd lower it and change your brakes. drilled or slotted rotors and after market calipers. or if you don't want to spend that much, just get a caliper cover for now. and get rotors later.

yeah, $850 is bs. it's not a difficult job. ask in your regional forum for a reputable shop. i paid $200 to have coilovers installed. springs are a little more work. but not $650 more work.
