Default 18$ Tail light upgrade

Okay, I don't want to get the rep for being the cheapest guy on the board. I did just buy Lucky a $3200 Warranty, but this weekend I did some cheap upgrades, opinions welcome.

This is the $18 precut blackout film on ebay. Installation time 45 minutes.

Nice upgrade. Not so bad. Much better than the stock amber.

The laser cut is perfect, followed the instructions, and not one bubble. The material is thick, not like window tint. It is four pieces, top and bottom. I took the pictures close up, but from a few feet back, it looks matte black, very cool. I just could not do the $700 new lights, though I like the new lights. I don't know if I like this better than the new lights, but for the difference in price I am very happy with the result.

Looks really nice. Could you post a link to the auction... would like to see exactly what you bought.

Thanks

I like it. I really think I'm going to do the red tint upgrade. I think it is clean and very sharp. Umnitza I think makes both red and black out.

that looks tight. for some reason, black on black all the way around looks "stealthy".

Daytime is a more stringent situation. If you can see the light on a bright sunny day, you'll have no problem seeing it at night.

Has anyone installed these on headlights? Curious how much they impair the amount of light coming from the headlights.
