Take a 3 day weekend and fly down and drive it home.
I flew to Dallas and picked my car up at 9AM on a Friday and i was home in Seattle by 3PM Sunday. 2,500 miles. $300 for gas and $250 for one way airfare.

Thanks guys,

unfortunately flying in and driving back is not an option.

I am considering DAS Dependable Auto Shippers. Anyone have any experience with them?

I'm still waiting for scdroptop to get back to me before I go ahead with the purchase. Hopefully he comes back on here to post soon

I've used Accelerated twice. They are real pros.
You may want to get a price from them.
They go everywhere, nationwide.

I shipped two cars with Dependable Auto Shippers. They were reasonably good but not great. I had a claim on one of them for minor damage (just a ding) and they paid up pretty quick. Customer service was pretty good.

oh wow, now don't know what to choose. Do you guys think I should try to have the dealer take responsibility and have them try to ship it to me? Maybe work it into the price?
Is this even possible?

Where are you scdroptop? lol.

Guys quick question. On this car I looked up the service history online.

Although only 2 dents were removed, on another page is says just for the description:

"FRONT/REAR BODY"

With no further details. What does this mean? Was the car brought in for body work?
