Default New Stoppers Soon!

Well, I've decided to treat my SC to a little tlc and give her some new stoppers.
I've used Centric parts on our LX and they've been working out fine so far. So I'm going to put on some new Centric premium rotors and posi-quiet ceramic pads this week or next so I'll get some more quality time to inspect my suspension while I re-shoe. Good sale on this week at around $265 delivered for all four wheels.

Any other experiences, good or bad, with after market rotors and pads? I'm not going exotic but rather I just want to meet or exceed OEM with decent braking that's not grabby and that's quiet and not super dusty.

Hey Bon

Why not also upgrade to some stainless steel Brake Lines while you are at it?
OEM brake is one of the SC430's weak spots.

I decided to upgrade to BBK because the brake fade almost had me killed durning a trip from Houston to Dallas last year.

Good idea, I'll check into SST brake lines. When I enjoy saving money by doing the labor I still like to upgrade whenever I can. I've replaced OEM lines with SST on some of my motorcycles and know well how they increase the brakes responsiveness and feel.

Actually, I once washed out the front wheel on a motorcycle while braking too hard right after my first set of SST brake line conversions - not good on a motorcycle. I grabbed a fist full of front brake in a quick stop and didn't expect so much response. Live and learn. Thanks for the tip!
