is it possible to change incorrect information on a auto-check report? reason i ask,Ive decided to sell my one of my cars to purchase a new one.I ran a autocheck report to show prospective buyers and to my surprise the autocheck report on my 06' 745i seems to have some info i wasn't aware of. such as frame damage. now the reason i say its incorrect/not possible is cause the car belonged to my mother (bought brand new) and I purchased it from her only a year after. She doesnt recall ever wrecking or as much as a fender bender. So for peace of mind, while i was in San Antonio this past wkend i decided to have the car checked out by the BMW dealership, and they came back saying/providing me with an affidavit stating their was no frame damage what so ever.I don't know how the autocheck report came up with that incorrect info but I know its going to affect my resale value regardless if i have an affidavit stating other wise. any ideas on how to correct this info? I've attempted to email autocheck and I'm still waiting for a response. any info would be much appreciated.

www.autocheck.com doesn't give a phone number, just a link to contact them. Yeah, you definitely need to get this one (no pun intended!) straightened out! Perhaps they miscoded some damage or even have the wrong car.
Have you checked it on carfax? Wondering if it would show the same thing?
I would send them a message or call them and see if you can get it erased. I heard that autocheck was not as accurate as carfax, which has proven lately not to be so accurate either. Contact us link below:
^^ Sc can u believe autocheck has yet to respond to me. i emailed them on Monday and still nothing other then an automatic email indicating that they'd receive the inquiry i sent. I thought about purchasing the carfax report as well to check out if It would have the same info but, Im being a thightass and dont see a need in spending another $40 just to end up reading the same crap. now I'm a bit discouraged about selling after finding this BS out on autocheck. maybe ill just keep the 745i and get rid of the pathfinder instead.Just that, I haven't even used the 745i much since i bought it, maybe put on 6000 miles since buying it two years ago and I figured since Im in the mood for purchasing a new ride i might as well get rid of the one i don't use. anyhow, ill keep u posted on what i decide to do, till then take it ez SC and thanks for the help.
Dave-customer service is dead! You would think in this economy sorry customer service people and companies would be weeded out, but unfortunately they still survive.
Keep on them...
I'd keep the 745i and trade the pathfinder for a LX470 or RR...they both are STEALS right now. Friend of mine just bought a 2003 (last year for the BMW mfg) RR for $20k.
Or one of my favs is a 2004 CL600/CL500 Benz right now...$120k new, you can steal one for about $25-$30k. I saw a 2003 for like $21k not too long ago!
You can call your own shots right now on higher end luxury cars that are 5+ years old.

^^^^1, even hedge fund managers get in trouble and many people in this market have margin calls, need to raise cash fast. Todays luxury car market is a buyers' dream come true !! Outstanding deals across America, but especially in FL, where the housing market has crashed . Find a car in Naples, FL, creampuffs at fire sale prices ! Good Luck
