Ok first I want to appologize because I do not know the whole exact story, but maybe I could learn some things from this and help my friends boss out. He just bought a SC430 2 months ago and noticed a clicking sound coming from his rear suspension so he took it into lexus and they had to order him a whole new back end to fix it, something they have never seen before. Now he is driving around a curtisy car Camery! (Lexus Toyota Dealership) and is spending a lot of money paying for the car payments, not having the car, having it depreciate and already having a problem when it is so new. Do you think there is anything he can do? Like call Lexus customer care, or get a new SC430 or anything? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

Maybe when you get more info you can elaborate on "they had to order him a whole new back end to fix it, something they have never seen before" since it might help us understand what is wrong with his SC430..

If it is just the suspension clunking take a look at the Sticky FAQ we started and it might be helpful to him.. However if this is something major please get more details for us as it might help out a fellow SC430 owner..

If he has a clunk then I am 99% sure that its the rear bushings problem. That being said it should be a straight forward 1 day upgrade/repair. As 2SAVVY said, more details would be great.

 

You are spending a lot of time on your friend's boss's car's problem.

I can tell you that he is not going to get a new car, just because he has a problem, no matter how large.

Without knowing more details, we really can't help much. Maybe you can tell your friend to tell his boss to log on here and check in so we can be dealing with some specific information.
