Default question?

I bought a 02, SC430 in Feb., and really love it....I got the car for road trips....my last play car was a miata, which I drove coast to coast three times....and even to Alaska once.....the only thing that I really do not like on the road with the Lexus is.....lack of a good cup holder....now I know that is something most will not worry about, but if you are on a long trip, it is really important.....at least to me....lol.....I have not figured out where or how to put one in this car, so would appreciate any advise anyone on this board could give me....thanks

There should be a cupholder directly to the right of the shifter. There are two, push down on the wood panel and it should pop up. Do you need more than two in a two-door sports car?

I do know about the cup holders in the car....but find them to be really unusable with cups...if you go around any corner they tip over....in my old miata I got the ones that hang from the door and they worked well regardless of how hard you were driving....but doesn't seem to be enough space to put them on these cars

That's the only thing I don't like about the car as well.
I just have to stop at bars more frequently. But then it is safer thsn drinking and driving.

I would say drink bottled drinks as well. still a pain when your bottle goes flying across the car. For me, I don't eat or drink anything except bottled water in the car. So I don't often come across your problem. Good Luck figuring out a solution.

The cup holders work fine for me, as I only use them if I am parked. For drinking water while driving, I use the small Pellegrino bottles, stored in that net pocket on the right side of the console.
