just read in autospies that the new SC300 will be about 10k less - around $50000...

 

Yeah there have been many rumours about the new entry level SC, although I think it is more likely to come in 3.3l V-6 form (SC330). Of coarse hp will be given a bump from the ciurrent 3.0l engines although my sources have not confimed by how much

 

Does anybody know of any websites with gossip on the next generation SC 300? Unlike most, I am very skeptical of an SC 300 release by the end of the year.

For the guys who went to the CL Fontana Event did any of the Lexus corporate guys confirm any details on the SC330??

 

I tell you what one of the sales rep at lexus told me last time I went to have my car checked, he said something about one of the big guys checking on all dealers and having meetings with managers and stuff, basically preparing the sales teams for the arrival of the new models by the end of 02/beginning 03, such as the GX, talked about an IS300 convertible and a coupe, the intro of the special editions for the GS, sportdesing, and RX, coach?, since they both will be redone by fall next year, the interesting part was what he talked about engines, he said there was a debate about it but it will most likely be a V6 3.3 liter engine, which will be used on all the models, from the ES up to the SC, the difference will be on their configuration, on which the SC, GS, even the IS, will have the high power version, meanwhile the ES and RX would get a ''weaker'' version of the same engine, thats all I was able to get out of that dude...
