I am looking to replace the speakers in my front doors, has anyone found a good replacement, seems many speakers are too deep to fit in the door. I want a nice low bass. Any Suggestion?

Alpine Type-S is a good blend of value and performance. Mid level speakers. May have to set the balance as they will overpower the stock ones. Best bet replace the rears with Alpines too.

 

There was a good thread several months ago on replacing speakers. The author had adapted home speakers, not car audio speakers, so there was the 8 ohm impedance match. I recall his search was extensive, since there is an interference issue as you mention.
