Bluish smoke on cold starts??

my 02 GS300 with 70k mls puffs blue smoke occasionally at start up (maybe 10% of the time) and consumes about a quart every 2 mths. i am disappointed with proposed lexus quality, but still love my car...

Blue smoke usually indicates bad head gasket.

white smoke and a sweet smell from the exhaust usually means head gasket not blue smoke
