Our cars with the now environmentally friendly water-based paints are so easy to chip as compared to older cars. I have applied clearbra to the front bumper, hood up to the winshield washer nozzles, front apron, side-skirts, rear aprons, both door edges, and both door handle recesses. The side mirrors were too difficult to apply nicely somehow.

Not only will the bumper and hood no longer get debris dents, but for some reason, the car has become even more quiet after installing the 3M Clearbra.

There seems to be less outside noise heard from the interior since the installation. Very strange. It's as though the rubbery hood absorbs sound that would otherwise reflect off the hood towards the windshield and inside.

Perhaps LS 460/LS 600 owners would appreciate the difference in the notorious wind noise, if they clearbra their whole car and apply some window film.

I have yet to zaino the car. Anyone have similar experience?
