Good time to buy?
New car sales are seriously down, according to today's news. Toyata's down, I think, about 30%. No word on Lexus, though.
So I'm wondering....is the SC 430 so luxe that its market is unfazed by recession, or might I be able to get a serious discount at this point?

You have two advantages:
(1) We're nearing the end of the year. Any '08 on the floor will be ready to go near or below invoice.
(2) Due to the bad economy, dealers want their inventory out, especially since they are awaiting '09 models to chime in.
The SC is not luxe enough to be difficult to purchase new. Realize that the SC is rather outdated, so it's not as popular with high-end car buyers.
