Default Rmm 3.76 Lsd

What differences are there with the Rod millen 3.76 LSD against the stock Supra one.

Any reason to avoid a used Supra one from breakers. Found a 96' 64000 kms for £300 where as a new RMM will cost me about £1600

You should not have any problems if you go with the supra pumpkin, just make sure its a auto TT becasue I believe you will need a new yoke or something along those lines with the 6mt pumpkin.

Personally I would rather go with the OEM Toyota supra unit, just pop it open and have a machanic take a look at the internals. I would buy the supra pumpkin and never look back.

There are two versions of the Supra TT Auto differential. One is the worm gear units from 1993-1996. 1997 and up went to the helical LSD units.

Worm gear units are supposed to be able to handle more power (not an issue here). The Helical units are supposed to have quicker response times. The helical unit seems to engage the traction control system more easily vs the older worm gear design.

The Supra TT LSD and the RMM are one in the same.

If you are referring to pumpkin vs pumpkin they are the same. They also sell the internal LSD unit alone but that just adds to the cost of installation and no benefit from the gearing.
