Default Training the Nav Lady for better accuracy

As I recall, there is a way to train the nav lady to recogize your voice. However, 15 minutes scanning the manual and five minutes searching this forum and I couldn't find anything.

Am I hallucinating this? If not, how is it accomplished?

To my knowledge there is no training. It is a universal system that will recognize a variety of voices, some better than others. No training is involved. All you need to do memorize the commands because she only knows certain commands that are pre-inputted.

I think you are right. I just found the thread I was remembering:
Teach the Nav lady your accent
and there is a post by TWQ83 claiming that the Nav lady can "learn your accent with voice command training."

TWQ83 actually worked at a dealership but with all due respect to him, I think he is wrong. Ironically, that was his 93rd, but last, post.

Default NAV Lady Complained about me!!

I thought of this tread as I was driving down the freeway yesterday, top down, radio on, surrounded by huge trucks. I gave the Nav lady a voice command, which she executed, but the display said:

"PLEASE SPEAK LOWER"

Apparently she didn't like the noisy enviornment! Sheesh, my wife complains at me all the time and now the Nav Lady is on my case!!
