I am looking at some good deals on some pre-2006's with ecru interior. However, I can not live with the yellow wood. My wife and I love the 2006+ ecru with dark wood interior.

I did a search but did not find any information. I am looking for input and/or suggestions as to replacing the yellow wood with the darker wood, either with factory replacements or with an aftermarket company.

...just remember that the steering wheel is also wood, and has an airbag, so cost and labor of swapping isn't trivial.

there is airbag change between yrs? if not, all you need is the wood, you can re-use the airbag. and changing the airbag/steering wheel is very simple. last time i did it in less than 10 mins

though in general if you ask me, i think it's going to be a pretty painful thing to do (replace all wood). might as well bring it to a good body shop and "smoke" them out to darker transparent brown

I found this company that can do the conversion.

http://www.rau-autowood.com/sc430.htm

Does anyone on here have any experience with this company?

Painting/smoking may also be a decent option if I can get it done right.
