Default wheel offset 40 vs. 45....any big difference?

hello, I'm looking to replace my 18" OEM spider wheels. I aftermarket wheels on ebay new and they are called ADR "Raiden".

the specs are 18" with 40 offset.

will that offset fit in my SC430? I know the original offset is 45, will these 40 offset put my wheels deeper into the wheel wells?

They will fit. They will only stick out 5mm more than your original wheels depending on the width of the new wheels.

the lower the offset, the more they'll stick out from the wheel well actually. for most wheels, you can go as low as 30 or so without having to worry about rubbing. 40 is still very conservative. most people prefer a lower offset so they'll sit more flush to the fenders.
