Default Bluetooth Handsfree Car Kit for 2002 SC430

I am looking to install a bluetooth handsfree car kit for my 2002 SC 430. I am not looking for the bluetooth unit that fits into the cigarette lighter unit and connects to the car speakers via FM radio channel. I am looking for something that is closer to a factory installed unit (connects to the speaker via cables). Ideally it would be great if this units ties into the navigation system screen. Any suggestions where I can find such a unit?

Can a 2005 or later model year bluetooth unit be retrofitted on to a 2002 model year car? If so, will the dealer install it?

I currently have a Motorola IHF1000 Bluetooth kit installed in my 2003. Works very nice. My unit is NOT wired into the ML stereo system; was actually easier (both with installation and regular use) to install a separate speaker just for kit. The speaker is hidden up above the passenger-side footwell and the small control unit is on the console, just behind the VSC and ECT buttons.

I've posted pictures in the past of my installation. It's a very nice unit...very unobtrusive, voice-activated, and even works (mostly) with the top down.

Let me know if you have any questions about it.

Default Stay away from IHF1000!

I have one in my other car -- worked great for the first year. Now, I have to answer calls on the phone, because if I use the kit's answer button it just disconnects. Between my wife and I we have four different phones (two different model blackberry's, a RAZR, and an iPhone) and the problem is on all of them, so clearly the kit not the phone. Next time I need an aftermarket kit I'm going Parrot. Motorola tech support is useless, too.

Check out the Tellphone. It's manufactured by RayTel. It's integrated with your car speakers and it uses voice recognition.
