Default falling apart

i just finished bodywork and paint my 02 sc which was in the body shop and had not been started nor driven for two 1/2 years due to financial crisis ( I bought the car from the auction 2 /12 years ago for very cheap) and the problem is now that im driving it i feel as the car rattle over every bump (might be runflats?) and it takes about a nice second & 1/2 for the car to respond after i push the pedal all the way. any suggestions on what to do?? everything is factory but the intake-injen. help please

My reason for asking is because i recently test drove an 02 certified pre-owned at the dealer and had a whole different level of comfort and speed(including throttle response)

any help would be highly appreciated!

It couild be a number of things. I'd bring it to a mechanic that you trust that has good knowledge and worked on our cars. Get the car diagnosed, get the throttle body cleaned, oil change, sparkplugs changed, flush all fluids, battery checked, etc.

There are too many possible answers to this question to toy with. Take it to a dealer and get them to tell you whats wrong with it, then take it to someone you trust to do it. And just prepare yourself because after 30 months of sitting I'm pretty sure you could have a few serious problems.

it had something to do with the fuel.. had it changed now the car is starting to show much improvement but wow, i cant tell you how much it scared me into thinking i was looking at a price of a new car but thank god it was just minor. had him change everything gs3.0 mentioned. also just pulled those disturbing runflats off and threw some 245-30-20-275-30-20 lensos on there.

Thanks guys highly appreciated!
