lowering spring installation
i have a set of tanabe NF210 springs. does anybody have any experience on installing them yourself? the shops locally are charging some outrageous prices to install and i wanted to know if somebody could but together a guide or just some general tips on making it DIY.
definitely regional, but yeah, how much are they charging? i think a lot of labor goes into taking off all the trunk lining in teh back of teh car, that takes time
i think 150 to 200 is the running rate in socal

that's way way too much.....
it's actually a lot more involved, but in a sense to take apart the trunk. basically you have to take apart ALL lining and stuff inside the trunk in order to reach the strut towers

If you have a Kragens or pepboys, the spring clamp compressor is Free of Charge to rent.
Installation is easy, you just need air tools. Look around the strut to see what to disconnect, try to unscrew everything u see holding the strut assembly.
