With the LuxLink back in stock, it would be good to develop a master thread of people's experience with various installers -- good job, bad job, cost, etc.

I plan on getting the LuxLink soon and would like to have someone with experience and good reviews do the install. Personally, I'd be willing to make an overnight road trip rather than just let some shop with no experience do it.

So, if you've had the LuxLink professionally installed, please indicate:

1. Installer/company name
2. Location (city. state)
3. Cost
4. Results (good job, bad job, any problems)
5. Other comments, INCLUDING whether there are any "gremlins" with your use of the LuxLink

johhnycake i live right outside philadelphia and have been looking for someone to do it on the east coast as well, never heard of any yet!

sc430blue where in md? could this be a mini meet on the east coast? lol i just picked up a 02 blue sc from lindsay lexus a few months ago. i had a 03 silver but it got stolen in philly at a outdoor parking lot! i'm like dumb and dumber when it comes to installing anything except light bulbs, so it would be more like me handing you a case of whatever and a check for helping me install it! lol

I just ordered mine from Steve and plan on installing it while up in NY for a while. I'm not trying to pay $300 for install. Any NY SC owners achieved this yet?

I understand there is a little soldering involved and I never took that class in High School. Otherwise I'd give it a shot.

key requirement? i remember reading something about the flat key, which thank god i have, but what exactly do you need it for? i'm assuming it has something to do with the auto start, which i doubt i will ever use.
