"SERVICE BULLETIN" Availability?
I've owned and driven 17 new Buick Electras / Park Avene Ultras over the past 20 years in the course of my work, and use to purchase the Three-Ring Binder from their (Dearborn?) Michigan Tech-Service Center, and would automatically get the Product Service Updates as they were sent out to the Dealers. Proved to be pretty cool when you tooled in to the Service Department for regular Maintenance Service / Repairs, and requested the Free Up-Grades while handing the Service Writer a copy of the Latest Service Bulletin.
If I had a $1.00 for every time that I heard: "Hey man - where'd ya get that? Whad'ya mean "Free"? Like, nobody told me anything about that stuff! Stay right here - I'm going to have to check it out Dude!"...........I could probably get a free tank of Premium Fuel from some rural Farm Bureau Coop!
I hate to call or E-mail LEXUS CUSTOMER CARE CENTER about this kind of thing. Some of those "Rejects From ONSTAR" usually keep me on hold, promise to call me back sometime, and then alert the Dealer that they need to follow up on one of their Customer's inquiry. Like the Selling Dealer doesn't already have enough taking care of current prospective Buyers!
Any takes on this issue?

However, there is a great outside site for ALL cars' technical service bulletins (TSBs):
http://www.alldata.com
specifically:
http://www.alldata.com/recalls/index.html
I just checked for the 2002's, and currently there are no entries for the SC430, much less for any Lexus.
Hope you're enjoying it. Take care.
" ECU FLASH REPROGRAMMING PROCESS." and
"WHEEL BALANCE ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE (18 INCH WHEEL)" are the other two.
I wonder why the two items that have been a topic here are not mentioned - the rear suspension rubber cushion and the amplifier problem.

[B]I registered with http://www.lexus.com several years ago for my SC400, where they posted some of the more critical service bulletins. Unfortunately, they haven't updated mine yet. I guess that will happen when all the papers have been shuffled.

Thanks ANTIGK - I appreciate the Info. Good to know that there are no current entries at the Web Site mentioned for LEXUS, and in particular, our Beloved SC!
Am I enjoying my New Onyx Black / Saddle?
Does a Bear still "S _ _ _" in the Woods? OH..... YEAH!!!!!!!
My Deliverying LEXUS Salesman advised me Not to apply any of the ZAINO Car Finish Polishes / Waxes for a period of 3 - 4 months, in order that the New ("Born Date: 11/1/01") Paint could cure. Does that sound accurate, given the State of the Art in Auto Paint Processes these days?
I have gone ahead and applied Z-1, Z-3 (sent to me by mistake instead of the Z-2 that was Odered), and Z-6 on the Wheels, Head Lamp Covers, Tail Lamp Covers, Outside Mirrors, and Front Grill. WOW- this ZAINO stuff of DYNAMITE! Can't wait to apply it to the entire car.
Ordered the Z-6 Tire Gloss and it really does enhance the "NEW" Tire look. Clean Tires and Two Coats = Perfection!
Anxious to try the Z-14 on the Engine Compartment Covers etc.
Hey dudes & dudettes - Wait until I Post the Photos of this Black / Saddle with the Gold L's on the Front Grill, Rear Deck. and under the Hood - Stunning! And extending the Gold Trim to the Hex Wheel DIsc Nuts and Center L's WAS definitely the Right Move. With the Custom Black LEXUS Front End Bra, this is one HOT Car!
With 650 miles on it to date, I've planned a 400 ++ mile round overnight trip from Indy to Columbus (Ohio) over the weekend. A fresh Maine Lobster at Engine House # 5, washed down with a few Cold Sam Adams over Ice, tip back a few night caps back at the Hilton Towers, then a leisure trip back on Country Roads on Sunday. As soon as I hit the 1,000 mark on the Odometer, I may just let this thoughrobred have it's way with me, and close in on the Red Line...........could happen!
Details at 11:00 on Sunday.
