Thats my favorite JDM SC. There was thread a while back with more pics of this one and 2 others that are pretty nice looking. Anybody remember that thread? I think Talwang posted it. He has the best collection of JDM pics. You need to upload them to gallery and some pics of your own SC too

GammLex really needs starting to experiement his 06 headlight for us.
It is too bad that the other guy wants to be the first one who can accomplish this in the US, so you are unable to get any info from him yet.

And yes, I did post that thread, but one member here dissed those fabulous SCs big time. haha

Another 06 conversion I just found. Damn..I am getting good at this.
As I have anticipated, someone will do that aftermarket shift plate to fool people.

GammaLex should lend you those.

I think 06 headlight will fit pre-06 bumper without any issue.
It is the 06 grill that needs the updated bumper to fit it.

that's pretty much my guess as well. the fenders and hood i think will be no problem. just the front bumper (together with the grille). connection wise i think they should be vey close except the adaptive part which won't work

For real?
Then how this was done.
It is a uzz40 soarer with 06 headlights only. The front bumper is still pre-06.

If you can get me the harness we can work something out Theres 3 plugs on the back 1 for the 12v and ground for the ballast, 1 for the autoleveling motor, and 1 for the AFS motor. Then the normal plugs for the parking lights and highbeams. The good thing it looks like I can power up the headlights but the autolevel plug on the 06+ has 4 wires and the 02-04 has 6 from what I can see with them on the car. Hopefully tomorrow with the bumper off I can see exactley what I need. Thanks Talwange pics of the old bumper on there. Now I dont have to wait for my 06 aero to use these headlights. My only concern is the projectors moving horizantly from vibrations due to the AFS motors not being powered. Well see whats instore with my lighting fasanations

I heard from someone that we need a conversion kit and also from someone that those won't fit the pre-06 bumper.

The truth is a lot of Japanese have done it and the link I pm you before says those only need a little processing work. Now the pics show they also fit the old bumper pretty well.

Anyway, hope everything will work out for you and do come back and knock us dead.

Its confirmed these headlights wont plug and play The auto level motor is a newer design with 4 wires. The old motor has 5. Other than that they bolt up, im not sure if the bumper will fit since I was discouraged once I found out they wont plug up. O well I guess ill wait till those JDM peeps mail me a conversion harness

Yes it is true - the new motor has 4 wires - i checked this yesterday while a small meeting of SCs in the north of germany...

Above this - the side-indicators won't fit (new fender or some cutting n welding work required).

regards
marcus

Marcus, What are those Red lights for? Are those aftermarket or Euro spec? Ive never seen those before. Also what do you mean side indicators? Which ones are those? I never ran into that as a problem just harness issues.
