update to 06+ headlight conversion?

On the bumper, the different part number is due to those new (ugly
) chrome details by the foglights gentlemen; headlight surround looks the same side by side. But man, those new headlights look UGLY; why would anyone want to change them????? Fenders should be identical as well...A quick view at the base of your windshield and that 10th digit would reveal the painful truth

IMO, the 06'+ headlights make the sc430 look sharper but that's just me. Would I change to 06'+ headlights if I had a pre-06' sc430? No, I wouldn't b/c it's too much of a hassle.While you are right about the quick view of the vin# to know the truth, I highly doubt most people would walk up to an sc430 just to do that.
