Snow tires
I have an '06 430 with run flats. I have an extra set of '06 18" rims and 3 run flat snow tires, (I need to get a 4th). My question is, what do I need to do to get the 2nd set ready to go on my car.
If I buy the 2nd set of tire pressure sensors separately, can I program the sensors for the car myself, or does the dealer have to do this? I got a quote for $750 for the tire pressure sensors, mounting and installation. I'd rather take care of the sensors myself and just go to a local tire guy I know to mount them on the wheels.

There's a button inside the glove compartment (right side) to switch between 2 sets of sensors, but am sure a dealer has to initially set it up.
It also sucks that we have to take it to the dealer for any changes on the C-Best list of options.
Had to replace my trunk struts, and asked to change 11 settings, and the tech took almost an hour monkeying with the data tool. Wish it was like the Corvette, or even new Acuras, where you can change them at will.
