Default Some feedback please

Have just bought a 2002 SC430 and was wondering if anyone had done anything to increase the power. Maybe chip the car or improve the air flow?? or something like that....?

Secondly my trunk has to be manually held up when putting something in it ...this is broken isn't it?

and thirdly my parking lights are always on - is this normal?

and finally I live in the Middle East and do not have the navigation DVD. Firstly do you know where I could order this from and secondly does the DVD have the ME maps on it?

Appreciate your feedback,

thanks

welcome to clublexus. there is a search feature at the top left where i am sure you can find tons of iformation about the stuff you asked about, since the car has been around since 2001 and a lot of information have been mentioned. in short

1) no chip for the car
2) you can do intake or exhaust to help a bit, together with headers to help more. if you want more power, go forced induction
3) the struts of your trunk lid are gone, you need replacement
4) parking lights always on that's not normal. they should only be on when you are in the parking light settings or when headlights are on
5) i am sure the nav ONLY has US and at most canada. not even hawaii. so there is no hope you can get it to work in ME (probably you will see sea water on the nav?)

still deson't make sense, they should be off when your headlights are on.
