Angry Alignment Problems

i took the SC to my local wheel shop for an alignment and they totally screwed it up!

the idiot didnt speak much english and he was whining about the camber adjustment and i told him just set the toe and fix the pulling to the right issue. so the idiot adjusted the toe one direction but it was the wrong direction and he only did one wheel. i had already waited 3 hours for them to spend 15 mins screwing it up and i had enough so i took the car and left.

so bottom line is i dont even want to take it back to have them look at it as its obvious they dont know what they are doing.

there is one place that i can go that has a pit and does lowered cars. i am going to have to take it there next week and see if they can get this thing close for me. all i know is that i cant drive it until i can get the alignment checked. its that bad.

what a mess this has been so far.

have you guys had troubles with alignment?

I will not have anyone other than Darin at WestEnd Alignment to deal with alignment issue. If you are in So. Cal. there is no excuse to go somewhere else. BTW, I am not taking commission of referring him.

I heard the cruise control gets messed up after an allignment. Lexus has to recalibrate it again. Thats what a local allignment shop told me.

Sorry for the aweful experience you went through and what you got stuck with afterwards. As I have said below ,if you find a good mechanic stick with them. We should have a stick on good shops for various procedures such as alignments, tires, etc....

Try westend as recommended, GSXOTIC recommends them so they must be good fokks. I have not tried them myself, but let us know if you do.
