get the blistein PSS, I am really really considering getting them. Someone said that if you call them (shox.com) you can get them for $921. I checked out the spring rate and it has the same ratio as the tein CS which is 10 up front 6 in the rear, the blistein is 12.25 up front 8.17 in the rear . So its a little stiffer but as Lee said they have good handling. The Tein HA for the GS has a 14 up front and 10 in the rear which is alot harsher ride but I believe it would work fine also.

did you not read what I posted for you. Get the blistein pss made for the 2nd gen GS. Call shox.com and ask them for a price should be under 1k. Lee says they handle very well.

It will fit, but you have to be very careful. fit doesn't mean it's right. the two cars are very different in balance, and you need to know what you are doing. genearch had the tein flex from gs on the sc430 before, the car never drove right until he got the tein cs

Henry is correct. I posted something a while back comparing springs rate balance on the car and the PSS were the only ones that matched up to the SC fine. But they were VERY stiff.

I posted up the spring rates like 4 post ago, saying the only ones with the right ratios from a GS that are common are the blistein PSS and Tein HA

I guess i missed the part of your post where you said that?

i think its time we get a group buy on some coilovers.

are they the GS300 or GS430 ones that have the good spring rates?

I am really leaning towards the TEINS but i dont know enough about the spring rates of all these choices to make an educated decision.

i did find the D2 coilovers for the SC430 but i dont know anything about them.

what would you guys do?

please listen to me get the blistein PSS from the gs ones as they are very close to the stock tein CS spring rates for the sc430. Also Lee has tested these in his sc430 and said it rode well and felt very planted. Someone else put on a set of tein HA from a gs and said it didnt ride well.

I hear what you are saying, i just want to explore all the options. from what i read about the PSS' they are extremely stiff. i am just not sure i want something that stiff.

i hope you get them i would like to see the drop and hear how they ride.

i saw you were looking for some coilovers too.

have you looked at these?

hey those look nice, however I think they are going to be super stiff, the spring rates are 15 front 9 rear, which is drastically stiffer then the Tein CS which are 10/6 and the Blistein PSS which are 12/8.

However they are made for the car so iono they must have done some testing? Do you know if they are expensive?

They are around the same price as the TEIN's

i am beginning to think that there might not be so much of a difference going with the GS coilovers! i think we should try to find the softer set of GS coilovers and call it a day.

the only thing i am nervous about it the ride height

dont worry about the ride height, your getting full coilovers + strut, your bound to get atleast a 3" drop and be able to raise it also. Your main concern should be the spring rates and the strength of the struts and the ride quality.
