Default would you be interested in ap racing rear brakes?

this is NOT a groupbuy yet, it's just information gathering at this point.

so i was talking to stillen the other day, the sole distributor of ap racing brakes here in the US. everyone knows that they have 6 pistons setup (either 13.5" or 14") for GS300/400/430, the SC300/400, and the SC430.

however for the rear setup, they only have it for the SC300/400. resaon is that these brakes are actually all from the supra setup, the SC300/400 share the same brackets setup front and rear, but the GS300/400/430 and SC430 share the same but different setup.

i asked stillen and they said they can fabricate the bracket to fit the supra 4 pistons setup in the back, however they will need certain number of people to justify the cost (around 5).

so my question is, how many of you would be interested in getting these, or join the whole ap racing group? the retail of these stuff aren't cheap. the front 6 pistons setup is around 2800, and the rear 4 piston setup is 2000. pricing might vary if there is a GB or whatever, but let's not go that far, this is just a poll for interest

and BTW, just for your information, there are two different ap racing 6 pistons setup for the lexus, 13.5" and 14". i asked stillen about the difference. the 14" is larger, looks better, mostly for the "look" market, it requires 18" wheels at the minimum, and so it does not fit under the supra tt wheels. on the other hand, the 13.5" will fit just within the supra tt wheels, and it actually has thicker rotors and more heavy duty, mostly for people looking for best performance at the track. and also, there is a 2000 bucks difference as well, the 13.5" at 3000 and 14" at 2800

well the problem would be it's also caliper specific right? so i doubt it will work for the supra rear?

Yes, your correct. Well ,we will see what happens with my next mod. I have a feeling it will be the rear TT Sup brakes or headers.
Still waiting for other stuff from Carsons.
