In the market for some new wheels and tires, primarily for winter use. After reading your posting I'm getting some bad feelings about the
claims I see on-line from new and used dealers. An example from either the forum or another popular source " Fit all Toyota Cressida Corolla Camry celica mr2 mk3 240sx Nissan 350z g35 Infiniti old school 180sx Kouki zenki jdm rim rims wheels none turbo twin turbo tires tire stock stocks slicks track Nismo Lexus sc sc300 sc400 sc430 is300 is250 is350 gs300 gs400 GS ls ls400 q45 350z 300zx 3000gt GT 3000 TT" So, if there are a set of nice tires and wheels from say a 350z how confident should one be that they will fit my 02 SC430 (without rings, spacers and the like)?

...Mike the bolt pattern will be the same, but you'll have to check the hub bore/size, if the 350z has a larger hub, then you'll need to get the hub rings also, to keep the wheel centered. The rings will help eliminate vibration that might occur, because of the different hub sizes.I know that some companys will give/offer you the hub rings when ordering wheels. They'll usually ask what type of vehicle you drive, then add the rings if the bore of the wheel is a different size

Hello friends,
I need some advice. So I'm looking at upgrading my WINTER rims once again on my 2002 SC430. I've been limping by on some second hand (bent) winter rims which I replaced when I had a blow out about a year and half ago. I've listed my current winter and summer setup which both fit without any issues. Both current sets of rims clear my front Supra TT Brake Calipers and rear OEM calipers. Currently, I do not cause any rubbing on the fender liners. I'd like to reuse the winter times on the new set of rims. I'm a novice when it comes to these things, but I know about making sure about matching the bolt pattern, offest/et, center bore/hub rings, etc; but not sure about the tire width, or if stretching is required,or the combination of these variables specifically in this case. Any advice and insight is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Current Summer Setup with hubcentric rings:
F: 245/35/20x8.5+35 CB66.6 Backspace: 5.63
R: 275/30/20X10+38 CB66.6 Backspace: 6.15
Current Winter Setup with hubcentric rings:
F: 225/35/20x8.5+13 CB73.1 Backspace: 4.75
R: 225/35/20x8.5+13 CB73.1 Backspace: 4.75
Proposed (will reuse the hubcentric rings):
F: 225/35/20x11+50 CB73.1 Backspace: 7.96
R: 225/35/20x11+50 CB73.1 Backspace: 7.96

....Shawn you're going to be pushing the limit with 2 issues, that I can see......the first one being, trying to put an 11in wheel on the front & the second being the 225/35/20 on a 11in wheel. I'm pretty sure you can get away with the width & offset on the rear. I think the offset is too high for the front, even if you could get the 11in rim on the front.Turning would being greatly diminished,if you could turn at all, because the wheel would hit the suspension. Now to the stretching, I'm not sure you could stretch that small of a tire that much. If it is possible, you would have the lip of the wheel totally exposed, which would make damaging the wheel very easy.

Hello to everyone
I'm the owner of a Lexus SC430 and before the summer I plan to buy the coilovers (i want to lower my car a little) and change the wheel. The coilovers will be MeisterR.
I ask you for advice in choosing the wheel. I found Trafficstar RTS 20 inch rims. They 8 inches, 44et front and 10 inches, 27et rear on the back? Will they fit without any modification? Can I do the same with the wheels same wheels but with 8.5 on the front and 10.5?
Cheers

I want to thank all of those on this board for your time in putting together charts, offsets, and wheel information.
It has been years of research and searching for wheels that I like, but I ended up with what I wanted.
GS Fsport offset wheels
Wheels Front - 8x19 (60.1hub bore) original offset 60 with 1.5inch (32mm) hubcentric spacer
Wheels Rear - 9x19 (60.1hub bore) original offset 60 with 1.5inch (32mm) hubcentric spacer (could go a little more in rear, but spacers came in a 4 pack)
Tires Front 225/35ZR19
Tires Rear 275/30ZR19 (22.2 total inches on the ground in the rear end)

Wow that set up is so good. Classic gun metal color!
Yes you need some PLASTX on your headlamps. Easy to do, well worth the results.
