Default updating headlights

I wonder if the 2006 "around turns" headlights can be fitted on older cars - mine is a 2002.

i don't think it's going to be easy at all. we are talking about a whole new computer (which might be behind the headlights), but it has to be linked with the steering somehow

unless you could simply have them without the AFS .. which makes me wonder then, would the headlights turn by inertia and get stuck in the same position everytime you take a hard turn <talking hardwire withough AFS>??
