Default Lexus SC 430 Service Visit Pricing

I am about to take my 2002 SC 430 in for its first service visit since I have owned it (its for the 52,500 mile service). I was curious what to expect.

First off, should I call around to price what it will cost me?
Does the price of Lexus service vary from dealership to dealership?
How long does an uneventful service visit take?
The closest dealer (there are 4 here in ATL) offers a loaner car, pick up service or shuttle service but I do not know if I should request it if it won't take long.
Would I qualify for a loaner car if I bought the car used (it has a Lexus Platinum extended warranty)?

Thanks.

yes, definitely call around for a price quote before you go. You will be surprised how much money you can save for a few phone calls. Lexus requires service for every 5000 miles, you are right in the middle of the service interval, so I can't really tell you what type of service you need. But I suspect probably just a simple oil/filter change, tire rotations and maybe check your brake and tires. This service probably will take 2 hours depending on the traffic of the service department. You can always request for a loaner car for any service (well, at least here in CA with the dealer I have been going since 1997). But you do need to reserve the loaner ahead of time unless you know someone there very well. Like most of us do here in So. Cal.

Go early. As soonas the open the doors (7am around here)
You will get a choice of loan cars. I used to go about 9:30
and all the loaners were gone or I would get a Toyota.
Wed I got a brand new RX330 to drive while they worked
on my SC
Good Luck

like mark said, the price difference could be huge and you should definitely shop around. but is there a mechanic around taht you can trust? at 50k miles it's not something major (mostly fluid change), if you can get a trust worthy mechanic to change it it's all good and you can save hundreds.

for loaner cars, going early is definitely good idea

otherwise go late in the afternoon and plan on the next day pick up
