Hey, I'm a new member but have been checking out the site for a while. I'm about to purchase a black / black sc430 and am very excited! I will be keeping the car outside unfortunatly and want to keep a sunshade up.
I once saw a permanant screen in a car which was almost like one of the roll up shades in a home. it would store in a cylinder on the right pillar of the windshield which almost goes unnoticed. You could pull it out and attach it to the drivers pillar and it blocked out the sun. Anyone have any info on this or where I could find it? Or maybe any other ideas?

My car doesn't sit outside, and I wouldn't put the thing you describe even for free (just personal preference), but all I can tell you is the Lexus OEM sun shield I was given when I bought the car fits like a glove. It's very thick, has the reflective material on the outside, and rolls (with velcro) for storage. I put it on the useless rear seat, which I never use. Check it out.
